DEVELOP COORDINATION

Our coordination is the foundation of all the bodies movement patterns. As the motor skills continue to improve so will the timing and performance of the body. SWIFT Use a variety of foot work drills to challenge our mind and muscle connection. On exercises that are applicable, we focus on using Left and Right foot equally to gain as much motor skills possible, creating a more ambidextrous function.

IMPROVE STABILITY

As motor skills improve, so does your ability to recruit muscles into your movements. With better muscle firing we can create stronger, more stabile joints improving balance and direction change. SWIFT uses a variety of slower drills to allow everyone the ability to connect with their body and the muscles working.

INCREASE AGILITY & SPEED

Once foundations are in place we focus on the performance. Challenge the body with faster and more powerful movements to create new adaptation, agility and speed. SWIFT uses a variety of reaction and power speed drills to push your ablility to move fast. By utilizing the 3 tier cable system, we can challenge the tempo of the drills and the fast twitch muscle fibers.

The class is one of the most physically and mentally challenging group fitness classes I’ve done! I love that you can make the tension easier or harder pending the exercise. I’ve also noticed the class points out muscle imbalances from left to right. It’s cool to find those imbalances so going forward you can focus and hopefully help correct.
